Hello, I see a lot of posts in here of ppl trading their pokemons, but the posts do not say what game/system. Is there a standard game/emulator that everybody is using now? I have not played pokemons since emerald on my gameboy advance and want to get back into it.

Can you play on your smartphone these days?

I want to be able to trade pokemon on these forums with everybody else but idk what system most ppl are using.

I guess most people are playing X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire. I believe it has to be on Nintendo ds or 3ds.

Some might be playing some of the older games as well.

Pokemon x, y, omega ruby, alpha sapphire are the only console games that can trade and must be on the 3ds/2ds.

There is a pokemmo game on the internet that can trade as well.
