original silver.

the depth of original content and game ingenuity i found was the best, along with your story line. it also having strong ties to gen 1 made the game have a lot more relationship with an original story.

gen 6 and 1 is a close tie for second, and gen 3 after that for its original content.

gen 4 and 5 were duds.

Fire red / Leaf green was Not generation 1

That was generation 3

Heart gold / Soul silver were Not generation 2

That was generation 4

of the remakes definitely heartgold/soulsilver. of the originals, blue/red

Pokemon Red, then pokemon XY for me,
red started it all, xy perfected the game play i really miss the customization of your character now in latest alpha

Gen 2, Pokemon gold was my first. So it's my fav.
