I can't hold back the kid emotions anymore. I need to get Pokémon X/Y. Which version is better or are they fairly similar?

The legendary in X is a fairy type and remains pretty strong from the moment you get him, onwards. I didn't feel the same about the Y guy.

none is better than the other it is the same story line and trading for pokes via gts and wonder trade is pretty easy
