So who would like to see the developers break from tradition and who would like to see them keep going with it?

no theyre the only true R/P/S circle

the dark/fight/psychic combo doesnt work because of the dark being immune to psychic
having them as secondary typings in X&Y is fine

Isn't Rock/Ice/Ground a weakness circle that could work? Just a thought.

and at fight 1 no1 uses there elemental attks

Electric water ground works

It doesn't because Electric attacks on Ground types have no effect instead of being "not very effective".



This one doesn't work either because Ice attacks are neutral to Rock, and Ground attacks are neutral to Ice; while Rock attacks are not very effective on Ground types.

electric does not effect ground. That would break this yes?

What about all 3 being Ghost, Normal, or Dragon starters? Or 3 types that are all neutral to each other like Water, Fairy, Flying?

Isn't Fairy/Fighting/Steel a true R/P/S circle? Can someone confirm or deny this?

There could be more than 3 options as long as there were clear weaknesses to the choices available so the rival character could choose accordingly.
