so does anyone know a good pokemon that i can use as a tank and can get to at my point in the game, i'm up to the water gym and so far i have overlevelled my starter (which was the fire starter) so i get smashed by th gym leader Wake .. :/ so any ideas for a tank ?

Shinx/Luxio/Luxray
Zubat/Golbat/Crobat

Shinx' evolutionary line hould be fine for that, even better if you pick up intimidate
Gyarados at that point isn't bad either.

budew/roselia/roserade also works well if not you baddie
