The last pokemon i played was Emerald.

ive been playing Leaf green on my phone and
im thinking about buying a Ds For the purpose of playing some of the newer pokemon
im wondering which generation to get
and of that generation which version has better exclusives
im also wondering what type of Ds to buy
also need the whole Ev thing explained to me as well as the wifi battle stuff

Raichu
Etc
So if a version besides SS/HG has more of these types of pokemon id be more inclined to get it

half of the questions you asked can be answered on google, but my opinion is to buy this setup:

nintendo 3ds (fun and good graphics for its low price, many good games on it and many good games to come)

pokemon black or white 2 (although its a DS game its still the best pokemon game on 3ds imo)
