So i havent played any pokemon games in about a decade, since yellow. Just wondering what the best version would be to get, interested to see how pokemon has changed and whats new.

would getting the latest version have too many confusing and new things? or would I be fine just jumping in.

also i doubt ill tweak the game, i will make a point to finish but this is just for down time when i have nothing to do or bored as fuck.

you could play the new one its the same thing just with new things like abilitys and new pokemon
go ahead and buy black 2 its just pokemon same concept im pretty sure u will get the hang of it

try a remake first, fire red leaf green then go to soul silver and heart gold

right on thanks guys, I think i will get black 2, Id be more interested in learning a bunch of new things than getting familiar with old shit anyways i think.

plus the online feature seems pretty sick.

might also be worth getting black 1 as well
cause both are same gen (and black 2 is a continued storyline with new protangonist after 2 years have passed) + story in both is pretty good too for a pokemon game
