well its not just for emerald anyway i found an emulater and a app that can download a shit ton of roms on my android samsung galaxy s 2!

anyway my question is this my emulater has a built in cheat base like change pokemon to what ever you picked

so i decided to have the pokemon you face to be charmander, squirtle, pikachu, umbreon, and mew basically my favorite pokemon and captured them and thats my team so finally my question is lol does the pokemon you face that you changed to be like charmander have the stats of charmander or the stats of the pokemon you where suppose to face? and if so does the stats when you level up that pokemon change to the stats of how your charmander is suppose to go up or the stats of the pokemon that you where suppose to face ive been playing it for a while and i havent really figured it out i know stupid question and prob hard to understand but i really want to know

just started playing my pokemon

grovyle 22
umbreon 21
pikachu 21
wartortle 19
charmeleon 20
mew 2

thats all i cheated on is the pokemon and i like to play when its really slow at work i know its for kids but i still like it and i only payed 4.99 for the emulater and .99 for the roms (vgba, game hunter)

sorry if its confusing im half asleep lol

I'd assume the game would progress as if you had the pokemon you caught, not the base pokemon that you cheated to change. I'm also assuming you caught them all roughly around the same area that might've been full of pidgeys and rattatas or something so you can probably check their stats right now and see if they vary with one another. For example, special attack should be higher on all of them than their attacks.

I had a gameshark for gameboy back in the day. I did the same thing once on a file. And as far as I could tell, the pokemon that I cheated to catch seemed to level up like they normally would(if you didn't cheat to catch them that is/like if you had just caught that pokemon normally).

Though since yours is an emulator and not gameshark based its hard to say. If I had to guess, I'd think it'd work fine.

I have emulator, but dont cheat unless save options. Tray to catch one more pokemon on the same species like that you use to cheat. Then make growt them trough combat, and see have each Pokemon will develop.

Unfortunately, while the Pokemon will act as though it is the one you cheated to get, the base stats will not, Which is why it is so easy to tell when someone cheated to get a Pokemon.
The stats of the Pokemon will be the same as the Pokemon you caught. In general, your Pokemon will be weaker than they would otherwise be if you had caught them naturally.
Best bet, just catch them over and over, raise them to about 15-20 and then check their IV's. The pokemon itself doesn't matter nearly as much as those do. xD

Also, emulators and roms are free, especially vga/visualboy. In the future, I suggest looking around more before paying money for roms and Emulators. Especially since their illegal unless you own the system/game already and leaving a trail via credit/debit cards is just plain silly.
