Bored, playing my N64. What is a good team to go vs elite 4 + Lance using only rental pokemon?

Can't seem to ever get past lance.

I run something like this:

Fearow:

Toxic
Hyper Beam

Destint Bond

Dewgong:
Rest

Aurora Beam
Waterfall

Dugtrio:
Magnitude

Gengar:
Hypnosis
Dream Eater
Giga Drain
??? (Can't Remember)

Typhlosion:
Flame Wheel
Swift
??? (Can't Remember)
??? (Can't Remember)

I almost always get to Lance unless I get some BS luck with matchups.
Can't really think of who to substitute out for who. :/

Why these guys? Most of their moves suck unless moved over

honestly game is tough as fuck in round 2 i just used my mew mewtwo and starmie usually i got from my blue

either you always used really good teams, or you are making this up..The elite 4 and final fight is always much more difficult than any of the fights in the other games
