If you have a public park or anything even slightly like that, go there and you will find more exotic pokes, and will run into them more frequently.

Yeah man... it appears to me more populated areas like downtown and parks have more pokemon and tons more stops too

Tried and used it let me guess you didn t use a anti root detector with it did you? Ill assume when you tried it it wouldn't locate you. It's due to it knowing your using a 3rd party app. So you need to keep it from being blocked using a app to block root detection.
