Could somebody give me more information about the actual chance of getting an IV 100%?

I've caught lots of 90's+ but not a single 100% so far, are the chances that small of getting one? For example,
I've got a 91%, a 93% and a 97% Magikarp. Should I be happy with this 97% and evolve it or would it actually be worth it to keep hoping for an 100% Magikarp?

Doesn't matter one tiny fucking bit.

IV's account for a small amount of stats.

A decent CP Pokemon might have an average of 180 on each stat, at around 2200 cp or so. That's about level 25-ish material. IV's can give +15 on each stat (attack, defense, vitality). Perfect IV's account for +/- about 10% of a Pokemon's overall CP potential. Difference between 80% and 100% is 2% or less really...

I don't care about the difference between 80% IV and 100% IV. Obviously you go for the better one, but wasting stardust and time thinking about it... could've spent the time leveling up, or taking a shit, or doing anything better with ur time.

Yea, because checking to see if the IV is 80% + takes so much time to do.

Not what I said.

I said it's a waste of time worrying about getting 100% IV when you're at 80% or higher.

I just did 5 evolvings:

- Psyduck [97.8] -> Golduck [97.8]
- Krabby[93.3] -> Kingler [91.1 - 93.3]
- Tentacool [93.3 - 95.6] -> Tentacruel [93.3]
- Ekans [91.1 - 93.3] -> Arbok [91.1 - 93.3]
- Meowth [91.1 - 93.3] -> Persian [88.9 - 93.3]

Your conclusion is correct, when evolving the IV can slightly change.
