Does the area you are in effect what incense spawn? I've never gotten anything but rat/wheedle/pidgey: other trash from them. Currently visiting my dad out in the country, no Phone service just running off of wifi, no wild creatures anywhere in sight.

Out of 2 incense, I got 2x clefairy, a cubone, a pinser, and a squirtle.
Just luck or do less inhabited areas give better incense spawns?

That sounds like solid incense grabs I have no idea all I know is I was told the very last spawn is a rare one but I think that's myth.

Seems the large majority of lure or incense is common ofc... with the occasional decent one it looks like for you

You know I'm sure area effects it.. because I get a lot of macho and drowzee and they pop decent on my lure incense...

I've got a small question I hope somebody could answer.

For example, a Growlith can have a maximum CP of 1335 -> resulting in a 2983 Arcanine.

Would I be able to get 2983 on my Arcanine with a Growlith of just 1000 CP? Of course it will need a lot more Power Ups but would I be able to accomplish 2983 in the long run?

That will depend on the CP inherent value (IV). IV can affect the maximum CP, HP and attack/defense ratings.

So you will need to run an IV calculator on your Growlith and if he happens to be 100% IV for the CP stat, you should be able to reach the cap for this specific Pokemon. This is assuming the 2983 CP is the cap for this specific Pokemon at 100% IV.

Pokemon have attack/defence/stamina.

Those 3 stats are hidden and range from 0 being the worst to 15 being the best.

If your growlithe has all 15s.. yes he is able to get to 2983.

If your growlithe doesn't have all 15s his cp will be lower and I can not tell you what it would be because I dint know his stats... but worst case scenario I think he will only be a few hundred shy...


Although unless good stats it's really not worth leveling up because it does make a noticeable difference
