can any smart person help me out?

i'm trying to connect my B2 game to Pokecheck's DNS so i can generate pokemon but even though i deselected "auto-obtain DNS" and manually typed in Pokecheck's DNS, it's not working. i'm not getting the error message i'm supposed to receive when first depositing a pokemon into the GTS, it just goes through the whole process as if i'm still connected to my normal DNS. heeeeelp! i wanna generate some unobtainable event legendaries
