To be honest, I've beaten the game with 2 pokemon.

Gengar with Dark pulse, Shadow ball, Psychic and Thunderbolt
And Tyranitar with Earquake, Ice fang, Brick Breaker, and something else I'm not sure.

But they're both super effective on EVERYTHING in the pokemon league (Exception for spiritomb) and red. So maybe grab a gengar or something?

that'd be a pain. I'd rather trade for one vs fg if that's even possible/been done before...
