It doesn't, most are easy to tell, but some, like Scyther, look almost exactly the same. A ring of stars will expand from a "shiny" pokemon though.

pokerus Doubles the amount of ivs earned per battle
Only you can tell if its shiny is by apperance it wont say shiny blah, Usually the animation when you jump into battle, the pokemon will sparkle and look totally ddifferent,
msn me with all pokemon related questinos man
