Have to fight your own gyms to increase the level. Just figured it out today. Potential game changer for defenders.

Yeah I seen it just never seen that high, or put that much effort in I only cap gyms for my daily reward them I give them up.

It's what... 100 prestige every time you train at the gym? Level 4 is... 12k prestige?

I slapped the 4 pokes at a level 4 and it gave 600ish prestige. Took me 4 goes to level it. Not sure what effects it yet though.

Spent $200 on a year membership at the Miami zoo because that's where it's flooding with monument pokestops and pokemons

The higher prestige at a gym, the more defenders can stay there. There's nothing more to it from what I've seen.

Yeah I get that bit, I mean I don't understand how the + and - prestige calculations are worked out. If I use a stronger or weaker poke to beat it do I get more or less prestige etc

I saw a gym downtown lvl 6, would be so hard to take over with all of the strong pokemon they have there...

I'm starting to fall behind a bit now. My progress is going slower, but it might be because I am getting bored of it

Bored!? You need to make some friends to hang out with and pokemon with dude.... me and my other buddy played for like 3 hours straight was a damn blast... tracked down some hitmonchan beat a couple gyms...

I joined a few different facebook groups around town it's a great way to meet people locally, it's what the games about after all!

true if I was canada I have quite a few friends who play it. But In EU I'm too focused
