Level up your mareep. I suggest using only 2-3 pokemon, as having 6 will slow you down quite a bit.

I would go with Totodile, Ghastly (when you can catch one) and mareep.

Now to try and fix the continues freezing

upgraded the latest software and still freezing

that sucks, i dunno what to do for you, have you tryed googleing solutions?
