yea i think it was intentional by the developers to make team skull seem like a bunch of douchebags.

I made a valid point on Reddit one day about how Pokemon (even though it is directed to kids) still has potential for adults. Especially since it is a good game and most of the adults that play it were kids when it came out. I basically got shit on by everyone for saying that they are doing too much to make it child like with things like pokeamore. Almost no one agreed with me and people just basically said "thats because it is a kids game"

I am happy to say though that sun/moon have taken some steps to appeal to older audiences.
