Tip: Try not to evolve your Pokemon because once you do the amount of exp required to max level it is ridiculous.
Example. Magikarp from 97-98: 200k exp. Gyarados from 97-98: 2mil exp
Thanks for the tip. Not sure if others know about it or not but it does make a huge difference. First play through I was evolving pokemon when they could evolve and by the time I beat Blane I had 2 that were lvl 60-70 and the rest were 30-50. With this second play through I didnt evolve any of them and my whole team is 70+. I really didnt do much extra of any sort of grinding on my pokemon either to get them higher.
