actually having root access blocks the device 100%, there are things called blocking access or read access or hide acess
mock mock gps is one way to go around this
the app detects if you have mock gps enabled via developer settings
2 mock mock will mock the device stating you have it disabled
therefore telling niantic you have no way to fake your gps app stops scaning

4 only way to get banned is a temp ban that they have implemented
niantic implemented this game from a game called "ingress"
all they do is if they detect a fast travel they block your account from doing anything. normally is from 5 min to 24 hours
basically it mocks like if you where from point a to point b in real time and enables your account for usage once virtual location arrives to your current location.
most spoofers say in 1 spot with more than 3+ lured modules inches away little walk distance with gym.
the way banning works is you are able to click on things but will not let you take over gyms, activate stops, and every time you throw a pokeball at a pokemon it runs away uppon first roll. Most spoofers spoof nearby or simulate walking
this is something niantec will not detect and cannot detect.
Yes ive done my fair share on spoofing in ingress, yes i know how pokemon go works
but theory is ....this game is not really ment to become a pokemon master is meant to get your ass off and see the world.
sadly...everywhere you go our social life has landed us on a electronic device whom we share happy faces via a screen than face to face.
where we talk to each other for a few seconds and continue on staring at our phone
while we walk to an art gallery and instead of admiring the picture we admire this art that we see every day on our 6 inch screen.
and yes we have relied on auto correct so much our punctuation grammar and wording has completely changed our lives.

i suggest you find an app that hides pokemon go and ingress from reading what other apps are installed on phone

Phone doesn't have access or knowledge that such an app is running.

And if you didn't already know, iOS doesn't give unlimited permissions to the app.

I like how the clowns in this thread, including OP are arguing over spoofing when you are on a site that originated from a bot.

Get real, just because you claim to have done it legit means nothing more than someone who spoofed, because you don't have proof.

Please pipe it. Post what you have, and don't cry when someone if someone tops you.

the good old diablo bot games how i miss em.

My best ones so far.. Level 21 - yet have a lot of evolves for when I feel ready for my next Lucky Egg, so will get a few newer ones soon.

E: I got 120k Stardust for when I'm lucky enough to find a Snorlax or Dragonite as well

You sound like you know what you are talking about and I enjoyed reading what you posted.

The thing is Niantic will still be able to detect it. Idk what "ingress" is but Im pretty positive in saying they didnt make 16 billion dollars in a week after release.

Sure you can spoof walk undetected to your location. If its 25+ miles away and you do that everyday from your home eventually you will get caught.

There is no way around it. Idc what apps you have installed or if your phone is rooted. Nothing you do will keep Niantic from finding you abusing their game.

You cannot spoof your location 24/7 you might be able to do it for a couple days but when your account is farther than 99% of people playing they will see the difference between the two accounts.

For example if my account was compared to a spoofer. They would see me driving around collecting pokestops and walking down the park path a million times hitting all the lures.

They will easily be able to tell who is spoofing without even looking into the spoofers phone.

None of us know what Niantic has in their back pocket as far as detecting spoofers.

And the 1 hour or 24 temp bans are temporary while they fix bugs and such. When stuff is running smoothly they will perm ban anyone who has spoofed.

And when that time comes I will be laughing in the face of each and every spoofer and making fun of them for being retarded thinking they could get away with it.

Im sorry but a company that just made as much money as Niantic did is not going to let people ruin the integrity of their game from simply installing 2-3 apps on their phone.. Its just not going to work.

Just don't magically travel to another state or city within a short time frame. Use google maps to find out how long it takes to drive to the location you want to go then wait after X hours before spoofing to that location. Make sure you close Pokemon GO while you wait for the time to pass.
