yeah but either way, im pretty sure its a re-release

i might end up picking it up since i never played mh, but im actually looking forward to mh4 a lot more

I was going to buy just a regular DS, but the 3DS was only $20 more, and the XL was yet another $20, but came with Mario Kart 7, so I decided to spend the extra $40 (which is the price of Mario Kart) to get the high end 3DS.

I bought SS for myself, and HG for my girlfriend, and so far they're very good. (Gen 1 and 2 were more memorable for me than gen 3..I've never even played gen 4/5)


I recommend the 3DS for so many reasons, the biggest of which is Ocarina of Time, and of course Star Fox and other N64 titles that haven't been released yet. When SSB comes out, you can bet I'll be getting that too.

If you enjoyed playing the N64, which I'm sure you did if you're a Nintendo fan at all, just spend the extra cash, and get the 3DS, it's like having an N64 in your pocket, without the iffy-ness of the 64-bit emulator on your phone. The graphics on the N64 remakes are also much better, and very pleasing to the eyes.
