also lucario is a bit too frail to tank anything

I didn't say he would be immune but most fighting pokes take one psychic from a good psy poke and they're out.

shuckle sucks, poison/steel types completely walls him because his only offense is toxic and he cant really setup
oh and taunt will wall him too

also you wouldnt leave a fighting pokemon infront of a psychic pokemon, and almost no pokemon have psychic type move for coverage
so you're better off switching anyway

as for lucario, he's good but you're not going to use him because your team is weak to psychic, you're going to use him because he can setup easily vs stall teams and hes a good wall breaker (at least he was in gen4, dunno about gen5)
