so can you catch the 1st gen pokemon in these games..
not so sure i wanna play it if i cant get all the pokemon that made me fall in love wit hthe game!

game is still worth getting imo
you cant catch any of the older pokemon till later in the game

i have it.. just didnt really wanna play if i couldnt have older pokemon.. but i can wait later in game.. as long as i can get them.

You can get some I don't really know how many you can get in game though, to get most of em your going to have to look towards trading/transferring to get them though.
