tyranitar is gay, if you bring him out his ability makes it sandstorm the whole match so when you switch him out and bring other pokemon in, if they're not ground type they get hit by it, as well as the enemy
but who needs your pokemon getting hit by sand and shit? he's slow too, he does have a nice moveset he can learn but if any water or grass or especially fighting type is out, it will generally be faster than it and get the first hit
overrated imo, my team is crobat/feraligatr/scizor/hitmonlee/arcanine (wish i could have vulpix but i have heartgold)/ and gengar
all fast with strong moves based off if their move is special attack or attack based, perfect team imo

Tyrannitar can get fast, get speed/Attack EV's and hes a great sweeper.
Hammer Arm, Earthquake, Rock Slide(Stone Edge alternative), and Crunch.

it's not worth it, when he's about half to 3/4 slower than every other 3rd/2nd level evolution pokemon
plenty pokemon can learn rock moves and dark moves, you can compensate with faster pokemon with more attack rather than tyranitar too easily (did i mention sandstorm is gay?)
