Two reasons why I still gravitate to it:
1) Huge #'s still playing, so there's value to an account.
and
2) It's Pokemon.

But, game doesn't have anything else going for it.

Because you're trying to get to level 40 as fast as you can. I play a few hours a week filling the pokedex. Currently at 112. And enjoying visiting different places looking for the few I need.

If you're trying to be the best on a game that doesn't have trade or 1v1 battles then obviously, you're not going to enjoy it.

Play one of the MANY other pokemon games that revolve around that, and I'm sure you'd enjoy it more.

lol botters are getting banned first.

GPS spoofers on non-rooted or non-jailbroken smartphones will be next

Jail broken Iphones will be next after that because they don't got the xposed framework

I'm was just stoked about battles but they're just so boring it's just yeah o just have no desire. Lol. But yeah I guess completing pokedex legit or working on it might be fun. That being said having to walk around at random to find pokes doesn't appeal to me either so yeah I prob am done unless there are some big changes

Value as in $$$?

the basic point of pokemon ( games or series) is to walk n catch them so with the phone app u can do it so u got that feeling a bit n then u duel other players but theres no pvp yet

if u play some times a week to fill the pokedex its fun but like any games if u rush it u will get bored n sure its grindy becuz its free to play

the gyms turf war is ok but apart from getting pokecoins its pretty useless

they need to add trade n pvp with gameboy games like combat mechanics

im playing it to fill the pokedex with friends since its free but for me i feel like its still in beta

Even cheating in this game is boring AF

only thing removing cheaters is doing is making gyms easier and more boring to take. Where is the fun in beating up a 8 year old kids 900cp poke in a gym? I like the challenge (if you could even call it a challenge) of fighting higher cp poke.

At least now all the haters can just hate people that are legitly better than them, so hate on you haters

Yeah I'm playing just to fill the pokedex and find it fun to get new Pokemon. Besides that it hasn't been nearly as much fun since they removed the tracker. Walking around aimlessly to try and find a Pokemon before it disappears is annoying. I still do it when there's a new one in my list though lol.

Main reason I tried necro (the day before bans) was for the fast evolving, sucks ass to sit and evolve for half a hour at a time, saw that you could get it done in like 2mins was appealing, Also filling up my bag with balls to catch shit with when I actually went out to hunt was appealing because of the lack of stops in my area.

I never went cross country for a dragonite, didn't even have one, or to certain poke nests to farm, I spoofed in my own town because I have a 14 month old kid that kinda limits how late I can stay out, and I wanted to play little later sometimes.

I tried a bot and got the hammer, but was bored long before that

Yeah I can definitely understand the reasons to spoof when there aren't any poke stops near you. I have to drive to a park or mall to get stops which is lame.
