im jealous of the areas with water. im in a desert and find stuff like ekans/geodude/sandshrew/onix/paras/growlithe/eevee/doduo/abra/rhyhorn, overall they aren't bad but how am i supposed to get enough magikarp/dratini if they all spawn hours away from me?!

I feel like this is one of the biggest flaw with this game..it doesn't really matter for me since I live in a urban area..but this game seems somewhat limited to those in rural areas..lol, like not enough gyms if any and pokestop..

even in LA County, there are places with like no gyms and pokestops for miles in residential areas..i mean it's fine walking few miles/few kms for exercise..but when the game requires you to DRIVE to play..doesn't make sense to me..hopefully as game progresses..devs will fix this issue

they probably will when people submit ideas for their areas, well if they do submit them. who knows how long it will take them to respond to the possibly millions of requests though. it really isn't too bad in my area tbh, but zero pokemon spawn on base despite it having a decent amount of gyms and portals. it might be because google maps has it labeled as a restricted road though.


i do get rly jealous when i see screen shots of 40+ pokestops in one picture. Edwards AFB has a pond that has about 20 (2 of which are gyms) though. you still have a walk a bit to reach them all but its decent, other than the fact that zero pokemon spawn there lol

Literally traveled to NYC -- Brighton Beach -- upon the ocean looking for a Lapras... Found an Onyx... No Lapras... Side note.. Found enough magikarp to evolve within 2 days.

My -one day Lapras- will ice beam the crap out of anything it encounters. Not very effective or otherwise!
