Last serious answer was shit so here's mine.

Don't buy a 3ds (over priced for a shitty gimic that isn't even using in any pokemon games)

Just get a ds or a dsXL if you wanna spend the extra money

Get your self used versions of heart gold or soul silver and diamond/pearl

If you enjoy these go for white/black but IMO they are shit.

bad advice imo, 3ds is awesome and you should have no reason to buy anything less unless youre poor or wanted a 3dsxL
especially with monster hunter 3, super smash brothers, and all the current awesome titles that are on it right now
