get your pokemon at level 75, then beat the E4 using only one pokemon, after about 20-25 runs it hits 100.... I did this on the Dodrio GB Tower, was about 2-3 hours per Pokémon. Doing it on a regular GB is another story though.

I did this for PvP purposes, and I wanted to use pokémon that weren't Missingno.'d

2-3 hours isn't that bad imo


find it worse fishing up 100 lvl 15 staryus until you find one with the right stats to begin building up

ever heard of breeding?

Was no breeding in red/blue/yellow.

there were no EVs or nature in r/b/y

They had max stats though.
I kept turning off my game at a eevee to get one with max hp/special attack for a vaporeon.
Maxed at lev 100 it had round 460hp/3xx special attack where most I had raised varied from 420-440hp and 220-300 spec attack.
So there was some logic behind it-I guess lol
I believe it was yellow version.

they had something other than Evs, it had something to do with the number of battle and not on which pokemon you fought

i never said there wasnt something influencing the stats, but it wasnt ev points

I don't remember what it was exactly, but I think when you caught a Pokémon every stat could vary in a span of 10 points, and that span would grow as the Pokémon's level increased. So what you had to do was get a Pokémon with max stats at it's lowest level possible, feed it carbos, iron, etc; and begin training it. That way you'd get a Pokémon with max stats.

But you never PvPed with your pokemons...
