So. Pokemon isn't really about the pokemon, it's about the game which is pokemon.

gen1-2 is good because of nostalgia and because it was new at the time, ofc gen 3-?? will never be as good, because those arent bringing nothing new, they're just pokemon game

Just saying as I liked all the designs of the gen1 pokes.
You can't say pokemon like conkeldurr (or w/e his name is) don't look a lil moronic.
Hell, Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno were neat for birds.
Mewtwo was a overpowered beast (would still be if dark/steel types hadn't popped up).
But hey, if you (not saying you personally) like the new pokes, thats alright.

Machamp was a awesome fighting type.
Highest Hp/attack power of his type.
The only one that you listed I didn't care for was exeggcute/tor.
The others, for the type as they listed (poison) I would expect them to look deformed.
What's wrong with voltorb/trode magnimite/ton?
I'm saying if you like gen5, tis fine.
Now, I'm going to go get a Ice cream, just like that one poke in gen5.
