If you have pokemon stadium and beat/teach it surf, can clear the game by itself with the right moves.
The ingame is pretty easy really.
It gives you Charmander/Bulbasaur/Squirtle to raise and a lev 25 Eevee in Celadon (which gives you a diff electric/water/fire type if you don't like the mentioned ones).
If you raise the free/given pokemon equally, should have no problems really.
