by time you hit max level, and other gens of poke come out, those trade bots will be your best friend.
take d2 for instance, it aint the people solo mfing that gets the community their items, its ppl that run 1000+ bots for items making the game enjoyable for everyone
or runescape
or wow
or mtgo

I remember back in D2 when you could get 3 players in a game and dupe (2 wall necros and 1 meteor sorc, or some combination like that). Made so many enigmas and other things. Also got away with running pindle while I went to school back in the day. But I mostly solo mf'd.
Problem with Pokemon Go is that the game needs *A LOT MORE* to it. As things stand, it's not worth spending $10+ round trip in gas, 60+ minutes round-trip driving, just to get to a central location and game for 5+ hours, day in and day out. For what? So I can take a gym for 30-180 seconds before it gets taken back?
The grind for Pokemon Go needs to stay at home (legitimate play, not by GPS spoofing), the hunt for rarer Pokemon (among other features) needs to be what gets people outside. If they do that, and introduce lots more features, then yes... bots will be what ruins the game. As things stand, bots ruin the game, but the game sucks as it is as well... so it's just a draw flat out. GPS spoofing makes the game okay-ish... I'm only playing because other people are, there's a sense of value to playing currently. As soon as less people play, or if the game doesn't get any new features, I'm gone (or if I get banned for GPS spoofing then I won't be making a new acct).
