After my first attempt failed at the top of Silph Co. after acquiring 4 badges, and my second attempt was lost to both the 3 month archive and refreshing of my games memory, I have decided to start anew.

Rules for this attempt:
    [1]If it feints, it is dead and must be released.
    [2]Can only capture the first pokemon encountered in each new area.
    -If it feints or flees, you don't get a pokemon for that area. If it is a pokemon that you currently own, you get to try again.
    [3]All must be nicknamed to increase the heartbreak when releasing them.
    [4]Can only buy one ball per mart.
    [5]The only medicine that can be bought are antidotes. Items that are found are free to be used when ever.


The Adventure Begins.

Life's tough for all young men. Even more so for young men, growing up without a father. He left my mother when I was born, and all I have to remember him by is an old photograph, an empty bottle of booze and the name he gave me. Sue. It's tough growing up, worse without a father, but that's nothing compared to being a boy named Sue.
Thankfully, my mother and I live in a small town, where everyone knows us and I don't have to get subjected to constant ridicule when people find out my name. There's also a professor who lives next door who, for some unbeknownst reason, always helps our family and has almost been like a father to me.

Today is my birthday. Professor Elm has promised me a pokemon! A Cyndaquil. I can't wait. I stayed up all last night thinking of possible names for him. Fire sounds intimidating, but is also comforting. Dangerous yet helpful. Just like me.
As soon as I get Fire, I'm going to leave this town. I feel bad for Mom, being left on her own, but I need to go. I need to begin the journey I've been planning all my life. I need to track down my father and deliver the vengeance that he deserves, for naming me Sue.

After running an errand for the professor, which included holding on to a pokemon egg and a pokedex from some of his associates, I was on my way.
I battled a young boy named Luna. He said he was named after an Eclipse, but it didn't sound very appealing to me. His name reminded me of mine, and before I knew it I was filled with rage; destroying his Totodile with Fire. He left abruptly after, but not before I realised that I would face this rival every chance I could. In that heat filled fervor of battle I felt redemption, and already I yearned for more.

Stepping into the tall grass, the first pokemon I found was a Ratata. I had to have him. Fire used a single tackle, which left him whimpering; ready to be caught. I named him Silv. Short for SilverBack, because even though he looks weak, he's a natural fighter, just like me.
I hope you're ready Father. My team is growing, and we are coming for you.

Haha yours are so much more appealing than mine. I may just begin one on SoulSilver so that I can play it on my ds instead of computer. Best of luck to you comrade, hopefully you can make it through the pokemon league and face your father
