lmk what your favorite pokemon team is for wifi or the battle tower.
cant find a whole team that can easily counter almost everything for some reason.

Dewgongs have high spec def too.
Plus Thick fat ability weakens fire and ice (ice vs ice? lol) attacks.

nidoking doesnt get mindreader

pretty sure articuno is the only pokemon with this combo (not counting pokemon with fissure since nulled by levitate/flying)

Even without mind reader, Nidoking usually has low special def. and is a ground type.
Add in the fact that a Ice beam would be supereffective, you also have the the bonus that adds power to Articuno attack that it gets from being a Ice type.
So really, you wouldn't need a one hit move to kill a bunch of Nidokings.
