Sigh. And the waves of disappointment begin.
I got Oaks package and in return for giving him that I received a pokedex and my first 5 pokeballs.
Filled with anticipation I stepped into the wild, preparing myself to capture the first thing I saw, with my heart set on a Pidgey. of course it was a Ratata.
I managed to capture her at level 3 and named her Rat Shit.
Through some very stringent and careful training, right next to "Mom's House" I have managed to level Leafy Fuck to 9 and Rat Shit to 7. Moving on to try find some better exp, and maybe a new area.
But good lord! I have never been so scared of critical hits in my life. A couple very close calls with both Leafy Fuck and Rat Shit.
-Note: There are going to be a lot of updates at the start since a lot is happening. I will try to edit where possible, but may have to double post if I am too slow.
[Edit]Fuck. I don't know if I should be happy or not. I went left of Viridian City, to route 22, to see if I could get a new pokemon. Was hoping for a Mankey, but a spearow or Pidgey would have been nice also. The first pokemon I encounter is a level 2 Mankey which I caught and named Alpha.
I should be happy because I got Mankey. I'm disappointed because I could have chosen to start with Charmander if I had remembered Mankey and his super effective attacks for the first gym.
Oh well. Fuck the Police, etc.
[Edit] Viridian Forest. Wasn't sure what I wanted here. Pikachu would have made me cry, since that would have been a super effective for the gyms that Bulbasaur was chosen for, but instead a level 4 Caterpie was the first to show up.
I named him The Used. Since they have a song abot a bird and a worm, similar to the evolution chain of Caterpie. If I can get it to fully evolve, I have high hopes for its survival. It is very weak in the interrum though.
Glad it wasn't metapod/kakuna. I would have hated only having harden until level 10.
Shit. Had to use the potion I found behind a tree in Viridian City because I forgot to buy an antidote for Viridian Forest.
That was a close call.
