There is a pay to advance feature. You are able to donate items to some ine in your fellowship(guild/alliance).

It's a pretty cool mmo, you start low level with limited champs, level over time and can improve their skills and get more champions. There is a campaign play with 2 difficulties and pretty cool fellowship events every week that give good boosts and bonuses the more active you are.

You start out with limited characters at level 1. Over time you increase their skills and acquire new champs. You can pay for gems which you can use to give yourself an advantage. You can join a fellowship which is a guild. You can request and donate items to your guild mates which can be used as a trade system.

Pretty cool campaign mode with multiple difficulties and cool fellow ship activities each week that give you bonus rewards.
