I played a lot of kingsroad forever ago, you need to farm the weekly events and get a gold farming setup to really push past. Also having $$$ in game helps a bunch with progression speed.

yeah I'm not spending real money on it, its one of those games like the hobbit where you have to spend a ton of money to finish any events, ill just play casually in my free time.
