The higher the league the better the bonus so you don't have to really worry about the base itself offering much more than trophys.
I would just barch and skip enough to find bases to pick off, but that's just me.

Just use GiArch

10 giants and the rest archers. you should be able to get 50% easy.

Yeah try this out.
Dragons are too slow of a composition, this should speedthings up for you. Find bases with a lot of stuff outside the walls for easy 50% or bases with th close to the edge or outside. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

just came off a maintence, i was spam clicking "okay" in order to enter the game, and the first base I found was 31 trophies. th8 base and i 1 star it,

about to just do some crystal farming on weak bases for elixiers, already below 1m elixir lol
