Th 8 and above.
At th7, it is almost impossible to not get 3 stared by a 10 dragon raid unless the user is new at dragon attacks and doesnt clear the CC of potential wizards. Dropping 10 dragons on each other and and having 5 max wizards nuke them quick suck
th8 is tougher to work with, however not nearly impossible to resist a dragon attack.
Best advice i can give you for a th7 base is to put your storages around your air D, so that the dragons get suck on storages and take more hits. besides that dont sweat it if you get 3 stared by a dragon attack.
This is my normal th8 base. I am close on maxing out the rest of my defenses. I have some more troop upgrades to do (breakers goblins pekka and loons + all DE troops).
Just 3 wizard towers to go and 3 more levels on each of my teslas. Then the god forsaken walls of course.
My war base. I just started a family clan so we are very new and almost to level 3 clan. We usually do 10vs10 wars right now and encounter noobier clans.
My base is anti dragon since at the moment that is what we run into. I have survived GOWIPE from th8-9 users, however it is very easy to 3 star my base with gowipe.
