They pulled a fast one on us.

They gave us what we wanted, less gems for less time so we're not locked into playing 2 hours, but now the 1 gem boosts aren't as good as they were before. Now they get more money out of it

Game is slowly declining (not just because of that reason). I used to check CoC every 15-30 mins @ work and when I wake up/on the drive home in traffic etc.
Now I raid maybe once a day and only war.

same im pretty much going on maybe 1-2 a day when i was on almost 24/7 before the update

I'm still pretty active but more dissapointed by the moves they been making. Havent stopped my daily progressions on my 3 accounts. I hope they fix the little things that make this game fun soon.

i also am playing less and less since the update. only thing i enjoy are the wars.

is it worth using rage spell on golems only?

That does not make sense, what do you mean?

dropping a rage spell on ur golems when no other troops are in the circle, meaning only ur golems benefit from the rage spell

Everything is circumstantial, if they get a 3 start then yes it could be worth it. I will tell you that there will almost always be a better use for a spell lol.
