There is a known temp dupe for runes out there. Those that was duped before are permmed and can't dissapear. Anything someone does now with the cube to temp dupe one WILL dissapear when you leave the game.
General rule to protect your self from temp dupes.
1. make the person join your game
2. enter trade with them ASAP. Don't let them doddle arround.
If you do that, then the chances that they will have enough time to pull of the hack that creates the temp dupe is slim. The method currently isn't public, so not many people can do it. Secondly it is unknown how long it takes to perform the task, apparently you do something in your cube, so they could have ti ready to go and only take 2 seconds to do the hack.
You can trade zod runes so long as we concider you trust worthly. The SAFEIST way is to trade them on the item store, and then before you check the item was delivered JOIN ANOTHER GAME. if you still have the rune, then it's safe. If someone does scam you with a temp dupe rune, REPORT IT, get SCREENSHOTS.

1. you can trade ZOD runes and any other high runes. Just use some common sense. Those that are trying to rip you off likely will be trading CHEAPLY to get trades to go through faster. If the deal is to good to be true, likely it is.
