For some reason, d2 isn't running properly on my laptop, whenever it runs fullscreen, the resolution is messed up and it keeps switching back to the desktop. I know the add on to the shortcut path for windowed mode is " -w", but what's the add on for the biggest windowed mode?

right click on theshortcut and click window mode maximize?

That won't help lol. I'm talking about opening the shortcut properties and adding -w to the end of the path. It'll look like "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w. I need to know the extra ending for a bigger window.
