no no you mistunderstood, it was a sticky post, but if you read the forum rules now, its not in there. and BTW you can upgrade uniques but now they id when you upgrade them. thanks to blizzard fixing their mistake.

yeah i know it isnt there now....but it was there is all im saying probably got taken down once blizz fixed it....that'd be my guess

Hey actually the common trading rules have changed a bit. wacko.gif For a number of items its best to leave them unid, and either trade them in that form or id them just prior to trade.

The main two items this would include (the 2 most important trade items, btw) are:

Tal Armors (because their so heavily duped/poofable) Unid then id prior to trade is just considered safer, and def not that important)

Shakos (no variable stats aside from base item def, so another good item to id and trade after shown to someone in tradescreen)

Keeping an item unid so you can "prove" its not duped is so wrong. The most recent duping method duped anything. Unid / id / runeword / doesnt matter, it could do them all. The reason for keeping things unid is so you dont id them and end up with CRAP mods on them. well, that's my reasoning for doing it neway.

just cuz someone says its not possible to dupe unids doesnt mean it really isnt. believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.
