Hi all,
I was wondering if soj's have item id's. Meaning, lets say bliz finds a way to wipe out all duped items. Will most of the sojs disappear?
I havent played in over a year, since the good ole ebay days. Since I just found out dsjsp, I thought I woudl run a bot and mule up some items. If they cant wipe out soj's, then I may trade my items off now, if they can, may hold onto them, just in case and trade later.
Thanks for any info,

actually they aren't item ids, but item generation seeds for the pseudo-random number generator that the game uses. And yes, every item ever created since the first alpha has an item "id". However, the check for two items having the same seed is disabled for item-types of the "misc" class.

and actually a lot of soj's are not duped. During one of the earlier patches people were able to look at what items were on the gamble screen and basically only buy soj's with their 50k. Also, there were tricks to making soj's appear very frequently on the gamble screen after that (by holding the 2 other unique rings) so that it only averaged about a million gold to get a SoJ.
