Saw someone looking for a white mythical sword the other day. Would that be a normal one? And how much would one be worth?

White is a runeword, using runes Dol and Io, but I thought it was only for wands. =p

I'm stumped. You sure it was on a myth sword?

they can also be refering to white as in an orignal item, incase they want to socket it make fury etc or imbue it

Oh. Well, I also have a plain old, vanilla mythical sword, if you need it. =p

Fruitbar's script picked one up for me Friday night, and I'd seen where someone was looking for one in the trading channel so I knew that it must have some value. It doesnt have any sockets though, and larzuk prob wouldn't give enough sockets for Fury would he?

for white items (normal, superior, not sure about cracked), lazuk would give the max socket allow for the item for that quality level (I think). Arreats summit is down right now, so I don't remember how many socket is max for myth sword. But for example, a white cb would give 6 socket, cs would give 5, cryptic axe = 5 etc. Magic items would recieve 1 or 2 sockets randomly. Unique, set, rare would received 1 socket. You cannot use the quest on something that has socket already.

PS. I wouldn't bother trying to sell such an item. You would have an easier time selling many other things for a soj.

Normal white mythical is worth about 10-15 soj..Probably more if superior
The reason for this is because the mythical sword is just so rare..And fury mythical is the best pally PvP legit weapon. I use on my pally and i prefer it over fury beserker

Anybody else want to give some input on the value of the sword? HeHe, we seem to have some differences of opinion on this topic. I went ahead and socketed the one I got, so now I have a 3 sktd white myth sword. Fury waiting to happen! Now if that Jah rune will just drop.

If white myth sword is worth 10-15 sojs now, then it won't be for long once botters start picking them up. White myth sword can't be more rare than ethereal colossus sword, of which I have too much for my act mercs already. You sure white myths are still worth as much as 10 sojs at least? I am really shocked!

PS. We still talking about USEast?
