i've seen some jpeg files with transparant backgrounds lately, and i'm wondering how this is done.
if anyone knows, please :)


ps, don't tell me it can't be done and i need to make png/pdf/gif blabla... i know (knew) this

You mean like this for example?


If you right click and view properties or look at the link I pasted, it will show the extension as JPG and not PNG

If this is what you meant, you can just add the extension of JPG/JPEG by renaming the file on your computer and then uploading it to the internet
i.e. renaming "pic1.PNG" --> "pic1.PNG.JPEG"

yes it's still a png technically, just that the extension is JPG

Learned something new. Didn't know you could do that with a png to make is look like a jpg. thanks for that
