im using paint.net to make a custom cursor, i have the images done but when i load the image in mouse options its really tiny but its supposed to be sized to be bigger. anyone have any idea why this keeps happening? i tried to google for it

the cursor stays the size of the normal white default windows cursor but I want it to be the size of my avatar. i put the correct sizing and save it as a cur file and load it up but the image stays small

i hope i made it a little more clearer about what im talking about. also if anyone knows a better program for mouse cursor making please let me know, i want to do animation with my cursor
