So i just purchased a capture card online. IT works, got it going and all. Ive been uploading videos through sony vegas, but my sony vegas trial ran out, and im not doing well financially enough too drop money into getting the full version.

The movie editing software isnt compatible with .avi format that windows 7 supplies.

I am asking, does anyone know of a free movie editing software that is compatible with .avi or a easy way too convert my files too wmv without losing the quality?

As bad as it sounds, you could just illegally download a nice movie editing software.

Or you could download the trial, and when that expires re-install your OS and install the trial again and again!
