I used to mess with photoshop when CS2 came out, now that I've got CS5, I want to get back into ps.
I've been messing around for the past few days, and looking through the gfx forums, and all I see is these "borderless" sigs and they're very eye-catching.
I've googled, searched jsp, youtube, everything I can think of, using the keywords "borderless sig" and have found next to nothing.

By borderless, I mean like this:

I'm looking for a simple tutorial, or anything really, to lead me in that direction.

Help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Make sure there is no background layer, it is transparent. Save as 24-bit PNG.

I see so many of these badass looking sigs, and I still can't figure it out. Lol.

I've been trying so many different things the past few days and I've got nothing.
I've read all kinds of tutorials to get more familiar with the tools in PS, and I just don't get it. How to get something to clean looking! D:
