Well, there are different methods of printing on textile fabrics.
I don't know much about them though.

I know there are really simple ones that can only print solid color layers to create images, typically designs for these prints are made as Vectors/Vexels.
There are probably other ones that are capable of gradients and stuff, but different printing methods will greatly differ in price and durability.

One thing to note though, if you want to print something on a tshirt, use a transparent background.

Thats what I know about tshirts. I am by no means an expert, but seeing as noone else said anything this might help you.
Avoid cutting of edges, like on the left and right of your image.

You can try opening it in Adobe Illustrator and using the Live trace tool... kinda turns out like this.... which looks well... bad...
In order to do this how you want, you would need to carefully recreate this in steps, and utilize color to transparent gradients.
The other option is to pay good printers, as they can blend colors and create gradients... which will cost alot more $$$ and require you to purchase more than a few.
My advice would be to think of some type of cool logo or something, and create it using vectors... with some creativity and originality you can still have a bad a$$ senior shirt.
