I know it's used to make something the same color as another thing, but have no idea how to use it. I need some help, I've read a couple tutorials, but don't understand any of them.

if you have 2 layers in photoshop, one blank and one with the pic you wanna change, put the blank layer over the one for editing, then on another layer/project, hold alt and click, then go back to your blank layer and then just draw where you wanna edit...

Clone is used to copy all or part of an image. Hold down alt to form the target, and left click on your original image to form a source point (ideally near the part of the image you want to copy). You can then use the clone tool to repaint a replica of that image somewhere else on the canvas (or another layer). You can edit the settings at the top (will probably want a larger brush size than default). Just try practicing on a blank canvas with a simple image. It should come easily enough.
